The software firm Microsoft is developing some web content software to go in mobile phone. Microsoft has joined forces with handset manufacturer Nokia to bring the new software forward to millions of mobile phones. Silverlight software will allow developers and designers to produce rich web applicants that can work independently of the browser, operating system and the handset. They will be able to work on a computer as well as the mobile phone. Silverlight will be available on all top end Nokia products like the Nokia S60 and then the S60 used in LG and Samsung handsets.

Silverlight has been designed to compete with the Flash software by Adobe. Flash is already used on popular websites like YouTube as well as millions of mobile handsets.
